We build systems that stay standing.

We design, build and operate the software, data and cloud platforms enterprises depend on — from the first architecture decision to the pager at 3am.

Capabilities

Seven practices.
One engineering standard.

We do not sell these as separate line items. A product needs a platform, a platform needs infrastructure, and an AI feature is worth nothing without the pipeline underneath it. Most engagements draw on three or four at once.

  1. 01

    Technology Solutions

Solution architecture and systems integration that make a disconnected estate behave like one platform.

  2. 02

    Product Engineering

Full-lifecycle teams: discovery, design, build, launch — and the roadmap that comes after launch.

  3. 03

    Software Development

Web, mobile and backend engineering with CI/CD, automated testing and a codebase any team can inherit.

  4. 04

    AI & Automation Solutions

LLM applications, retrieval systems and process automation — shipped with evaluations and guardrails, not demos.

  5. 05

    Cloud & Infrastructure

AWS, Azure and GCP landing zones, Kubernetes platforms and infrastructure as code with cost and security designed in.

  6. 06

    Digital Transformation

Legacy modernisation, data platforms and operating-model change delivered in increments — never as a big bang.

  7. 07

    Enterprise Technology Services

Managed engineering, application support and site reliability for the systems that are not allowed to go down.

How we work

Production discipline,
applied from day one.

Every engagement runs on the same four movements. Nothing is left to be “hardened later” — observability, security and runbooks ship with the first release.

  1. 01 — Discover

    Understand the constraint

Architecture review, stakeholder interviews and a hard look at what is actually blocking delivery.

  2. The Architect: a figure assembled from stacked isometric blocks, standing still and holding a glowing crenellated hexagonal ring at arm's length.

    02 — Architect

    Design for the tenth year

Target architecture, migration path, security model and a delivery plan with real numbers against it.

  3. The Builder: a kneeling block-built figure setting a single glowing cube into a lattice wall of dark cubes.

    03 — Build

    Ship in small increments

Cross-functional pods, two-week cadence, trunk-based development and automated quality gates on every merge.

  4. The Warden: a vast crenellated hexagonal ring standing above a battlemented wall of cubes, holding the line in the dark.

    04 — Operate

    Own it in production

SLOs, on-call, cost governance and continuous improvement — or a clean handover to your team.

Engineering charter

What that discipline actually buys you

Engineering quality is invisible until it fails. These are the practices we hold ourselves to on every engagement, written into the statement of work rather than the sales deck.

  • Architecture decisions are written down

Every significant call lands in an ADR in your repository, with the alternatives and the trade-off we accepted.

  • Security is a gate, not a review

SAST, dependency scanning, secret detection and IaC policy checks block the pipeline. There is no override path.

  • AI systems ship with evaluations

Golden datasets, regression scoring and human review loops before a model touches a customer-facing path.

  • You own everything we produce

Your repositories, your cloud accounts, your IP — from the first commit. No proprietary runtime holding you hostage.

Signals we manage to

Four numbers we design, operate and report against. Indicative of the targets we hold programmes to, not a guarantee.

99.95%

Availability target

The SLO we design and operate managed estates against.

38%

Cloud run-rate reduction

Typical saving in the first year after a modernisation programme.

6 wks

To first production release

From kickoff to real users on a real environment.

24×7

Follow-the-sun coverage

Engineering and incident response across time zones.

Selected work

Programmes, and what changed.

The shapes of problem we are usually called in for. These are illustrative programme profiles, not client engagements — we will walk you through real, referenceable work under NDA on a call.

What we optimise for
The most valuable thing we do on a programme is tell a client what not to build. The best outcome is a platform smaller than the one that was specified, doing more.

Before you ask

The five questions we always get.

If yours is not here, it is the first thing we will answer on the call.

Two weeks for a standard pod, assuming access and environments are ready. Assessment engagements can usually begin within five working days.

Most of our work is blended. Our engineers join your ceremonies, your repositories and your on-call rotation, and we plan explicitly for the point where your team takes ownership.

You do, from the first commit. Code lives in your version control and runs in your cloud accounts. We do not deploy proprietary runtimes that create lock-in.

Every AI system we ship has an evaluation suite, a defined human review path, data-residency controls and a documented fallback for when the model is wrong. We will tell you when a problem does not need a model.

A structured handover: architecture records, runbooks, dashboards and paired sessions with the team taking over. We stay available on a support retainer if you want the safety net.

Start here

Tell us what is slowing your engineering down.

One call with an architect, not a sales team. We will tell you whether we are the right partner for the problem — and who is, if we are not.
